How do I get resources through Google Scholar?

Answer

When using Google Scholar you will get some results that are Open Access (freely available, no login required) and other content that is not free, or "premium" and is behind a "paywall."

In order to access the premium content that we have subscriptions for you must be logged into your Google account and make a change to your Settings in Google Scholar.

Click the three bar menu in the upper left...that's where you'll find the settings.

After you open the Settings menu you then need to select "Library Links" and enter union college as shown below.

Check the box next to Union College - ViewIt@SchafferLibrary

Links will now appear in Google Scholar search results if we have licensed the content.  You will first be directed back to Primo, then to the resource.
