How do I request the digitization of a book chapter?
You can request that we digitize chapters in books we own in our physical collections. Once your digitization request has been processed, you will receive a PDF of the chapter via the email you provide for the request form. Please submit separate digitization requests for multiple chapters from the same book.
1. Sign into Primo. You must be signed in in order to access the digitization option.
2. Search for the title of the book with the chapter that you want to have digitized.
3. On the next page, limit your search to “physical titles” under the Availability facet, located under Explore Results (left side of the screen). This search will bring up all versions of the title. Please note that there may be an ebook copy of the title that you seek. If there is, you may simply download the chapter(s) that you need.
4. Click on the title that you need
5. Scroll down to the “Get it” section of the page, click on the Digitization button. Partial digitization is the default setting.
6. Fill in the form with the chapter that you need digitized, the chapter title, start/end pages or click on the full chapter box. Add your email address in the Comment field of the request form.
7. Once you have completed the digitization request form, click on the Send Digitization Request button.
8. You should get a confirmation page indicating that you have successfully submitted your request.
